I Hit my Phone With A Chair

Although this is something that I did not manage to do on purpose it was a complete accident and I am now suffering from it.

I had first dropped my iPhone onto the floor in which I was immediatly called up for a meeting. When I had got back down I had totally forgotten about the phone and slid across the room to my desk space. After feeling a slight bump I just presumed it was the floor or something like that. I wasnt in luck as it wasnt the floor.

Once I had remembered the phone was missing I went looking for it to discover it being on the floor and after inspecting it I thought everything was okay until I turned it over. The reason it cannot work is because it has become cracked just where the charger goes in so I cannot charge it. Another problem is that I had no way of getting a new one because I didn’t have iPhone insurance.

Because the iPhone has been my companion over the past few months I do not feel that I could have any other phone to do the job. So it looks like I am going to have to go out and buy another one. Perhaps because I am on contract they will give me a bit of a discount but I can’t see much sympathy coming from them when I haven’t for any insurance of any kind, even that gadget insurance would have sorted me out.

I am now going to go out and get mobile phone insurance as there is no way I am ever taking this kind of risk again. It really is impossible to replace all of the things I have broken in the recent times.

So there it is

The Dangers of Mobile Phone Use and What We Can Do About It

There has been plenty of debate as to whether or not cell phones have holistically upgraded our lives. And although this gadget has contributed significantly to our existence and industries, their negative impact still manages to negate their constructive qualities.

Despite the numerous criticism against these devices, people don’t seem to waver their support for mobile phones. In fact, as of 2008, there were about 304.7 million mobile phone units sold in the whole world. And that doesn’t even quantify the number of users, which are abundant in all countries. In the United States, 203 million people own and use cell phones. In Australia, the number of mobile phones being utilized even surpasses the entire country’s population. The influence of these inventions is extreme. As proof of this, they have already broken boundaries and transcended culture. Can you imagine what the world would be like if mobile phones were banned for their harmful effects?

Cell phones have long been speculated as the source of degenerative diseases like Parkinson’s and Alzheimers. But in addition to this, they are also being accused for other biological abnormalities such as an increased blood pressure, a weakened immunity, and the growth of tumors in the brain. Some experts claim that the electromagnetic radiation emitted by mobile phones cause deadly and irreversible illnesses such as cancer. Now this is thought to be brought about by, first, the destruction of the brain’s selective barrier, which allows toxins and harmful chemicals to enter and wreak havoc on the structure; and second, by hemoglobin leaking from destroyed red blood cells, that lead to kidney and heart problems. Cell phone radiation is also suggested to endanger pregnancy and may even cause deformities among children. Though all of this remains to be purely theoretical and no weighty quantitative support has been established on humans, many medical practitioners still presuppose the truth behind this information and warn the public of too much cell phone use.

In addition, cell phone radiation is also suspected of causing another form of physical threat, in the form of car accidents. According to a study conducted by the Harvard University, cell phones are predisposing factors to 200 vehicular deaths and millions of deaths per year. Furthermore, it is also insinuated that electromagnetic waves prove detrimental to the environment’s health and may cause freak fires in gas stations, as it can unwillingly ignite gas fumes.

But with all things considered, cell phones are not solely to be blamed for these ill consequences. As such, the human factor cannot be excluded in the equation. Our excesses and lack of control usually bring about negative effects to our cell phone use. So, it might be best that we learn, while still physically fit, about what we can do to prevent bad things from happening. By using the internet, we can gather enough intelligence to help us live a better, healthier mobile phone using life.
